Off season is important to rest the body from the adverse effects of comp dieting and training. We train heavy offseason as body has sufficient carbs, fats, sodium etc to support heavy lifting. A time for us to gain as much muscle mass we we can for our next competition prep and cut. So don't get discouraged by lesser definitions, heavier bodyweight or body fat etc. Muscles needs rest & replenishments to grow and reconstruct. “
